SHOP FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
Established in 1970, The Shop, a resale store in downtown Menlo Park, sells gently used clothing, accessories and household items donated by League members, local retailers and the community at large. Savvy shoppers know to check here first for designer clothing, handbags, shoes, sparkling crystal, china and other home furnishings.

We accept donations Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., except during sales.
From time to time, we reach capacity and cannot accept donations for safety reasons. Be sure to check this homepage or call ahead to make sure we are accepting donations.
Donations to The Shop are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and a receipt will be provided. The JLPA•MP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

COMMUNITY IMPACT
The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula (JLPA•MP) is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
Since 1965, the JLPA•MP has supported more than 100 community projects, awarded cash grants to more than 200 local nonprofits, contributed hundreds of thousands of volunteers hours to our community, and trained generations of peninsula women who have gone on to serve on other nonprofit boards and found their own nonprofit organizations.
The JLPA•MP focuses on improving the wellbeing of its community through programs and community partnerships that address the impacts of systemic poverty on the physical and mental health of individuals and families, including the lack of sufficient housing, food, and provisions.
